HOLLY LANE ANTIQUES

Holly Lane Antiques began as a retirement project about 10 years ago.

We have been selling antique china on Ebay for over nine years. We spend a part of the year on the East Coast and part on the West Coast and participate in Antiques Shows in both areas. A year ago we decided to make our lovely antique treasures available at an online store at Antique Arts.com.

We specialize in Antique Haviland Limoges china and have a very large ever changing collection available with an emphasis on the Haviland patterns with pink roses and gold trim since they are currently the most popular and sought after. We also maintain a request list for buyers looking for that special piece or Schleiger pattern.

Early English White Ironstone is our newest passion and we have a large collection of it available with an emphasis on ewers and pitchers especially those with floral embossing. Antique white ironstone has become quite desirable among decorators and is often pictured in home decorating magazines. A stunning collection of ewers was pictured on the cover of Architectural Digest a few years ago.

Holly Lane Antiques offers other collectible china such as English Transferware and Flow Blue. We round out our collections with vintage silver pieces, depression era glass, and vintage linens.

Since we spend time on both coasts we are always finding wonderful treasures to add to our collections.

We are members of Haviland Collectors International Foundation and White Ironstone China Association. These resources are invaluable to us in researching our collections.

Hi, marie.

Nice to be back, hope your summer's been fruitful.
The mattress -- boards, supports --- shall I say it?
Perhaps a picture of the side rails will answer all questions more rapidly?
Since there are various methods of attaching spring, box spring, or mattress to rails, only a pict can help.
cheers.

You can email pics to me at dana@materialpleasures.com, and I will see if I have something comparable.

Hi Marie,
Regarding the worn red print on your Double Wedding Ring quilt...
It is very easy to conserve the quilt by appliqueing period fabric over the worn patches. Leave the old fabric in place. If it's a c1930s quilt, the fabric is easy to find. If you can't sew, or don't feel confident doing the work yourself, look for a quilt guild in your area, and see if someone there would be willing to do it. I charge $5 a patch just for the work, fabric not included.
Let me know if you need any other help, I'll be happy to try!
My best,
Dana

It was a bit difficult to get an RSS feed for your site, but I managed to get some of the listings in the Limoges and Ironstone category since they seemed to have the most items.

You need to go to the applications on your My Page and add RSS Feed, it is either the last or second to last page. Enter this URL and name your feed Holly Lane Antiques. It's just a start and we can do more in time.
