I posted this comment on the advanced sellers group forum, but I think it applies here as well, and perhaps non-advanced seller members will have some thoughts on this topic:

I'm sure most advanced sellers know that there are so many new selling venues, with new ones popping up every month.

I think the key factor that now needs to be focused on is not where to sell, but how to get the buyers to find your items.

For that, we need to make sure that whatever site we sell on, our own, or an online mall, whatever, all the listings must go into google base. And it needs to be as automatic as possible, so no items are left off.

Then we must educate the buyers to search/find through google.

There's no way that even the most dedicated buyer/collector will be able to go to all the sites and enter their favorite searches, but they can achieve that through the google search engine, which shows google base items at the top of the search listings.

Now the question is, what's the best way to educate/retrain buyers, most of whom are not even aware of all the new sites, and they don't care about our struggles with ebay, or fees, all they want is to find more treasures for their collections.

I'd love to hear your suggestions, AVCOSA members.
