AVCOSA - Antiques, Vintage & Collectibles Online Sellers Assoc

AVCOSA is a trade association representing interests of antique, vintage sellers

AVCOSA ~ Antiques, Vintage, Collectibles Online Sellers Association

"AVCOSA" stands for: Antiques, Vintage, Collectibles Online Sellers Association

What is AVCOSA? It's a group site for online sellers of AVC -- a community where sellers all speak the same language: "antiques", and all that that entails -- passion, obsession, business, internet activities, selling, buying, marketing, learning, helping, sharing -- an info and resource hub, and new ideas font -- AVCOSA is a "good thing".

There have been so many changes and innovations to the online selling world. Online sellers, especially of AVC, have their work cut out for them.

And that's where AVCOSA comes in, giving us a place to come together to talk about what we do and how we do it, to see what works for others, addressing the unique issues related to online selling.

AVCOSA is set up as a community group site (on the NING platform). As a member, you get your own website, in the form of your profile page, on which to promote your online business and selling venues, as well as your own blog, and photo gallery.

We have lots of experienced smart members posting interesting articles, having intelligent discussions, networking, and making friends, while helping each other out with the business of online antiques selling.

Our objective is to be a place for advancing your knowledge -- a wonderful forum for online sellers to discuss and learn, share and teach, about any subject pertaining to selling, with the emphasis on this "brave new world" of online options.

We'd love for you to join us. It's simple, and there is currently no membership fee. Please read our Policies page, then Sign Up, and then you can set up your membership profile page, and start participating in this new adventure.

Welcome!

Use Google Shopping To Find More Antiques (aka Google Base / Google Product)

A NEW and IMPROVED way to expand your search results when you shop for Antiques online is through Google Shopping's search engine.

AVCOSA wants to promote the concept of doing your antiques shopping through Google, not just through eBay.

It has a few names, but whether you call it Google Products, Google Base, or Google Shopping, it's the way to find more of the vintage treasures you want.

Google Base indexes the items that are listed all over the web - everyone from Ecrater and Bonanzle, to Tias, and Rubylane, as well as eBay and 100's more sites -- AND it includes lots of individual seller's shop websites, too.

So you will see more of the items that you are searching for, all in one search results list. You don't have to go to each individual site and enter your search terms over and over.
Once is enough. And you will find items from sites you didn't know existed, hadn't thought to include in your daily quest, or just didn't want to hassle with clicking on.

So, next time you are looking for antiques, that special item for your collection, the perfect gift for a vintage fan -- just be sure to go to Google.com, click on their SHOPPING link, and you'll be seeing more desirable Vintage goodies at one time.

For sellers, your success at selling antiques and collectibles doesn't depend as much on which site you use, as long as your listings get indexed by Google. Simply make sure that ALL of your listings get uploaded to Google BASE.
